Alberton Operations
The Town of Alberton is one of two incorporated towns in Mineral County, Montana. The other is Superior, the County Seat, 30 miles west of Alberton.

We are governed by a Mayor elected every four years and five elected Council positions, also elected every four years on staggered years, if possible.

Mayor and Council Members receive a small stipend for their great contribution to the community.

WATER / SEWER OPERATIONS:
Alberton Water / Sewer 
The Town of Alberton is operates our Water & Sewer Treatment plant. We are directed by the Montana Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) rules of operation.

Alberton's water comes from a natural spring and use is metered monthly. Our Water/Sewer treatment plant is operated by a credentialed Town employee.

We ask residents and visitors to follow the Sprinkler Rules and never put illegal substances down the drain....

Alberton Community Center
The Alberton Community Center is a restored Railroad Depot and often the center of community life. Available for rental, the Center houses our Branch Library, the Town Hall, the Senior Center and other events.

Tuesdays and Thursdays at Noon there is a regular Senior Luncheon open to the public. To rent the Center, first check the Events schedule here.
